Total change from past. Has always had good food but service and attitude was slow and not consistent. New owner has turned things around and I would highly recommend. Food and service outstanding and fun place to be.

It was a packed cold night the other night in December! They offered up hot cocco with whipped cream, though it came cold it hit the spot. I ordered stuffed shelled pasta and the pretzel. Before my main dish arrived, they delivered some complimentary yummy and soft garlic bread and that filled me up fast. The pretzel was firmer than I wanted, but the beer cheese was great. My main dish was so yummy. I never had stuffed shelled pasta before and the consistency, texture, and flavor were great. I will be coming back to try their German food and I can't wait. Such a unique and great place that is needed here in Sumter. Thank you!

What a nice find. I was in the mood for Italian and googled Italian restaurants nearby (in Sumter SC). Sambinos came up, the menu looked good, and it was 2 miles from where I'm staying, so I set out to try it. Got a friendly greeting when I entered, and when I mentioned it was my first time there and I was in the mood for Italian he said "well we've got pretty good German food too". In Kansas City, (where I live) there's a dearth of German restaurants, so I focused on the German page of the menu. I had the Jeager Schnitzel with typical German sides of Spaetzl and red cabbage. It was all delicious. The setting is cute, casual, clean and comfortable. They also have excellent brewed coffee, a nice bonus. I'd have loved to try the apple struedel, but that's a mission for another day.

Food and service was excellent. The restaurant is under new management. Along with the Italian food, they've added some German food to the menu. We've only eaten there once so far and were pleasantly surprised. They even had someone playing a guitar and singing for background music. Restaurant is nothing fancy but who knows what changes the new owners may make

Food was great and are waitress Joann and the food was great are waitress was just so nice

The food was great. I had the stuffed shells. It was really slow tho. As good as the food was I feel like there should have been more people. We were there for lunch during the week. Maybe it's more of a dinner place. Either way it was delicious!
